2017 has been such an amazing year for music. The year kicked off with The Migos gaining superstardom with the smash hit Bad & Bougie and the release of their C U L T U R E album. From Kendrick Lamar blessing us with a surprise album titled DAMN., to Oshawa’s own Daniel Caesar releasing his debut album Freudian, heralded by many as the best album of 2017, gaining two Grammy Award nominations. Not to mention Drake dropping More Life, Cardi B releasing THE hottest song of 2017 with Bodak Yellow and so many other break out artists that it’s been hard to keep track.
We started the hashtag #RSFaves in 2016 by enlisting some very passionate music lovers to start the conversation on Twitter of what their favourite albums were. Now to continue that tradition, we brought on @ellhah, @jayemkayem, @samomaryleona and @MeghannnEliza to discuss their fave albums of 2017 and to learn what other people loved as well.
