Multi-talented R&B-funk-rapper Anderson.Paak saw major growth in 2015 with some bangin’ features on Dr. Dre’s Compton, The Game’s Documentary 2.5, as well as releasing two Ep’s – The Anderson.Paak EP with Blended Babies in September and Link Up/Suede with Knxwledge in December under the pseudonym Nxworries.

Riding on his success, Anderson.Paak kicked off 2016 with his highly anticipated sophomore album Malibu, which dropped on the 15th of January.

Malibu totals 16 tracks, including “The Season/Carry Me,” “Am I Wrong,” “Room In Here” and “Come Down.” Features include BJ The Chicago Kid, The Game, Rapsody, ScHoolboy Q and Talib Kweli. Production comes courtesy of Dem Jointz, DJ Khalil, Hi-Tek, Kaytranada, Madlib, 9th Wonder and more.

Malibu takes r&b backs to its roots with beats composed of live rock instruments and purposeful song writing tied together by the soulful sounds of a pained artist – this is an album that will stay in rotation.
